Fastdatafy (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website fastdatafy.com, agent storefronts, and related services that let users in Ghana buy mobile data bundles, result checkers, AFA registration, and wallet-based services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. It is designed to meet common app store (including Google Play) disclosure requirements.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details: name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form).
• Order details: recipient phone numbers, bundle/checker selections, transaction references, order status.
• AFA registration: full name, Ghana Card number, phone number, region, district, occupation, date of birth, and related fields required for registration.
• Agent store: store name, business contact details, pricing, and customer order data processed through your store.
• Support and communications: messages you send us (chat, email, WhatsApp support where enabled).
• Wallet and payments: amounts, references, and status of wallet top-ups, purchases, refunds, and agent withdrawals (we do not store your mobile money PIN or full card PAN).

Information collected automatically

• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and similar technical logs used for security and troubleshooting.
• Cookies and local storage: session identifiers and preferences needed to keep you signed in and to secure forms (see Section 8).

Information from third parties

• Payment partners (e.g. mobile money gateways) send payment confirmation references and status — not your PIN.
• SMS/WhatsApp delivery providers process phone numbers and message content only to deliver OTP codes and service notifications you opt into via settings.

3. How we use your information

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you (including OTP verification).
• Process, deliver, and support orders (including sharing recipient numbers with mobile network fulfillment partners).
• Process payments, wallet balances, refunds, and agent earnings.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Send service-related SMS or notifications (e.g. OTP, order updates) according to your notification settings where applicable.
• Improve, maintain, and secure the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

We process personal data as needed to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), based on your consent (e.g. optional marketing where offered), and for legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, and service improvement, balanced against your rights.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Mobile network and fulfillment partners — to deliver data bundles and related products to recipient numbers you submit.
• Payment processors — to confirm and reconcile mobile money and other payments.
• SMS and messaging providers — to send OTP and transactional messages.
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations.
• Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.

Agent store operators see order data for sales made through their storefront; they must use it only to fulfill and support those sales.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal record-keeping requirements. Order and transaction records may be retained for accounting and fraud prevention. You may request deletion subject to exceptions (e.g. unfinished transactions or legal holds).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your OTP codes.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and session storage for login, CSRF protection, and core site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core Service. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using signed-in features.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data (via profile settings or by contacting us).
• Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal and operational limits.
• Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

To exercise these rights, email support@fastdatafy.com from your registered email or use in-app support. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our primary operations and users are in Ghana. If data is processed on servers outside Ghana, we ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection requirements.

12. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party sites (e.g. payment or network pages). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we are not responsible for them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at https://fastdatafy.com/privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
